John Cunningham RGI (1926 – 1998). Studied and later taught at Glasgow School of Art. Cunningham was known for his distinctive still lifes, landscapes and interiors. He lived in studio flat in the centre of Glasgow, which was designed by Sir John Burnett expressly for the use of an artist. It was here, in this unique ambience, that his still lifes were painted and where his landscapes were finished.
