Boldly painted watercolour depicting a shore scape with wind dried vegetation in the foreground, and an atmospheric sky with a beam of light penetrating a heavy vapourous sky.

Danny Ferguson RGI (1910 – 1993). Studied and taught at Glasgow School of Art. He was a member of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour and a member of the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts. His paintings are of a very romantic nature reflecting his own personality in a wide variety of themes – landscape, still life, interiors, self-portraits, and rather gentle Chagall-like compositions.
